Heads up! Astrology is complex. It’s a sophisticated knowledge system which contains layers of meaning and tons of ways to learn more about yourself and connections to the greater world.
Fortunately for you, I adore complexity. Tracking myriad connections, patterns, symbolism, and metaphors in order to understand how they weave a beautiful tapestry is completely my jam! Best of all, I’m a Gemini Sun and Mercury, so explaining all that complexity to you is totally in my wheelhouse. I make sense of all the colorful symbols, lines, and glyphs you initially see on any chart plus much more.
My astrological perspectives pay tribute to tradition and I’m forward thinking, original and innovative. Being a comparative mythologist always shapes, informs, and grounds my astrological work. Additionally, my mythological work intersects with botany, history, archaeology, women’s studies, astronomy, mathematics, systems thinking, art, geography, and poetry.

A native California girl, I’m all about the West Coast, the Pacific Ocean, and the abundant beauty I live in. From childhood, I’ve been absolutely captured by “Story”: books, language, and how stories shape us. I’ve been a California Poet in the Schools, a children’s bookstore owner, and an award-winning buyer for local government. Helping to produce numerous non-profit, fundraising, & community events—including one held at Hearst Castle in California–was wild team fun!
I earned my master’s and PhD degrees in comparative mythology—the study of the grand narratives of humanity. Mythology connects all the dots for me! I’m a quirky, creative, multi-passionate, and a highly sensitive person (HSP). I’ve studied astrology for the past 25+ years with some of the best astrologers out there. I love my life and astrology helps keep it on track.

Yes, please plan ahead. Estimate scheduling your reading/consultation at least two weeks in advance of when you desire the session to occur.
If you cannot attend your scheduled, confirmed appointment, please cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Your cancellation will be confirmed, your payment refunded, and then you can reschedule. If you do not attend your scheduled, confirmed appointment, and have not cancelled it 48 hours ahead, your payment will not be refunded.
I will need your birth date, birth location, and birth time.
***Please note that if incorrect birth data is supplied by the client, Awestrology is not obliged to redo any or all of a reading.
Yes, all readings will be recorded. (Awestrology recordings will be archived for 90 days following the session and then deleted.) You are welcome to record your reading using your personal phone or recording device as well.
***Please note, in the event of a faulty audio or video recording due to third-party issues or any other technology issues, Awestrology is not required and cannot redo any or all of the session. Any recordings of readings/consultations remain the intellectual property of Margaret Merisante, Ph.D. and, as such, are copyrighted content.
Awestrology, LLC is located in Eugene, Oregon. I offer both in-person readings and online readings. In-person readings are conducted in Eugene, Oregon. Online readings are offered through Google Meet.
